The scope of this Code encompasses the entire process from design through installation, inspection, and testing of pipeline facilities utilized for gas transportation. It also addresses safety considerations during operation and maintenance activities. Furthermore, this Code specifically addresses safety concerns related to liquefied petroleum gases when utilized as gaseous fuels after vaporization. It mandates compliance with all applicable requirements outlined in NFPA 58 and NFPA 59, in addition to the provisions outlined herein, regarding the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of piping systems handling butane, propane, or their mixtures.
