Dredging is a closed book, 50 multiple-choice question examination covering all aspects of dredging work, including such areas as estimating, dredging vessels and equipment and their proper operation, safety, navigation, permitting, the process of dredging, and disposal. The publications listed below do not necessarily provide all of the information necessary to be successful in this field or to pass the examination, but candidates preparing for this examination may find the following references very useful for their studies.
